I can see her dreams

in this ocean blue.

I can feel her heart

as it sets on you.

It’s a dream that never dies

on an ocean at first light.

I can feel the rain

as it brings new life.

I can touch the stars

in your summer eyes.

As it flows through you,

it flows to you.

It flows through…flows.

I can see her dreams

in this ocean blue.

I can feel the magic—

It’s a part of you.

It’s a dream that never dies

on an ocean at first light.

I can feel this river

as it’s rushing in.

High up on this mountain—

The road it never ends.

It’s a dream that never dies

on an ocean at first light.

Where the sun is in your sight

And with a love that’s burning bright

And it never ends.

It never ends.

It never ends.

Terry Fatland - "A Dream that Never Dies"

Lilou interviews Foster Gamble

Trailer for "Thrive: What On Earth Will It Take?"

About this Song

I originally wrote this song to show my support to Lilou Mace. At the time, she was trying to get her own show on Oprah. The song is about following your dreams.

I believe that Lilou is making her dreams a reality. She is an extraordinary beautiful Soul that is making a huge difference on our planet. She has almost 12 million video views on her website. Lilou has interviewed, and continues to interview, the top innovative thinkers of our time. Today, I saw a posting on my facebook page of an interview Lilou did with Foster Gamble.

The Universe is amazing!

It is rather interesting that the day I decide to publish “A Dream that Never Dies” to hubpages—a song that I wrote for Lilou—is also the day I see Lilou and Foster’s image on facebook. What are the chances of that!

Foster and his wife are responsible for putting out the powerful transformational film, “Thrive: What On Earth Will It Take?” It asks the question:

“Why aren’t we thriving as a species?”

The film has been nominated for “Transformational Film of 2011.”

Now, let’s get back to the song.

The song was not only written for Lilou; the song is written for all Dreamers. We all have dreams inside us waiting to be born. There is a beautiful line from the “Conversations with God” film: “Dreams do not have an expiration date!” That is very beautiful. Now, make your dreams a reality!

Thanks for stopping by my fellow Dream Makers.

Peace, Love, and Light,

Terry Fatland

Beautiful words... amazing voice. I clicked on your video to see it better and while I was over there... I ended up knocking the keyboard and saw a few other of your songs. Like I said, amazing voice. And a very cool story!

Thank you very much barbergirl. I'm glad you enjoyed the song. I have been writing songs on and off since I was 16. "A Dream that Never Dies" was written in the Summer of 2010. I added a new chorus to the song last year.

Thanks for checking out the other songs too. I would like to someday take these to a music studio and get them professionally recorded. Most of the songs were recorded with a Flip camcorder. I also need to find some musicians.

I'm glad you liked the story too. We are all Dreamers. It is good to show our support to other Dreamers. I dedicated this song to all the Dreamers in the world.

Thanks for stopping by.

That would be so neat... having your own CD. My brother in law went to school for sound recording. But I don't know to the extent what he actually does. Good luck and keep on writing!

@barbergirl. Yeah, having them on CD would be very nice. I'll send you a copy when that happens. That's cool that your brother in law went to sound recording school. I was actually thinking about doing that when I graduated from high school.

Thanks for your continued support. I greatly appreciate it. I uploaded a couple of songs onto youtube: "Alibi" and "Come Into Your Life. I wrote "Alibi" in 1989, while "Come Into Your life" was originally called "Free Yourself" written in 1987. I rewrote "Free Yourself" in 2008 and changed the title to "Come Into Your Life."
